Align Yoga Teacher Training

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE ALIGN YTT TRAINING CURRICULUM

• yoga philosophy and the lineage of yoga, from Eastern roots through Western interpretations

• subtle bodies and the energetic principles of yoga, with a special focus on the chakras

• anatomy and physiology as it relates to the practice of yoga

• meditation and pranayama

• skills to effectively lead physical asana classes, including how to pace, sequence, cue, and modify

• using sound and the incorporation of all senses into a yoga offering

• exploring the mind-body connection and the effects of yoga on the nervous system

• honoring yoga’s roots while supporting equity in western yoga

• effective, modern marketing tools for professional development in the industry

• applying your voice and your teaching skills through mentored practice teaching

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Your tuition includes 200 contact hours of training, up to two mentorship hours, and a full printed program manual.

A non-refundable $250 hold fee is due at the time of application submission. $250 fee applies toward the balance owed on program, and acceptance into the program will be offered within 72 hours of application submission.

Applications will stay open until the program is full. To ensure adequate attention, space, and resources for all attendees, each session is designed to have a maximum student headcount.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

It is suggested that applicants have 1-3 years of steady practice before entering a training program. Applicants should also understand that additional time and resources may be expected of them outside of the 200 contact hours of the program. Arrangements should be made to limit outside responsibilities and distractions during active training periods. 

An application process helps ensure programming will suit the needs of trainees. Until maximum headcount is met, all applications that demonstrate a willingness to successfully complete the advertised program will be honored and accepted.

REFUND POLICY

All application fees are non-refundable. Refunds may be available for extreme and unforeseen life circumstances up to 60 days before the day of orientation, less any credit processing and return fees. We thank you for respecting and adhering to this policy.    

 

COVID-19 POLICY

There are currently are no restrictions that prevent us from gathering with our max headcount in our selected training space in 2024, but we will continue to monitor and take all measures to keep participants and staff safe. Any newly mandated state/federal industry guidelines will be strictly adhered to, including the transfer to a full or partial online curriculum, if needed. If you would like to participate in the course virtually even if the course moves forward in person, accommodations will be made for you.

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Graduation from our program requires attendance at all sessions. Any planned absences must be approved in advance by a program director. To graduate, both planned and any unexpected excused absences (illness, family emergencies, etc.) will need to be made up via private session with a lead trainer. Private session fees are not included in the program tuition cost.

Punctuality is expected. Tardiness may result in required make-up sessions.

REQUISITES FOR GRADUATION

To obtain a certificate of completion, students must attend all scheduled sessions and demonstrate an understanding of the curriculum through completed assignments, written quizzes, teach-back classes, and a comprehensive final exam.

PROGRAM LOCATIONS: 

We will be splitting our time between Lake Yoga (Concord, Ohio), Wellness Traditions (Eastlake, Ohio) Wellspring CLE (Cleveland, Ohio) based on classroom scheduling needs. This opportunity will grant the trainees a chance to learn in different environments which is a critical component of being a teacher in the Yoga Industry.  Each location will require that you complete a separate waiver of liability.

• Saturday January 13 + Sunday January 14 (9:00am-3:30pm)

• Saturday February 10 + Sunday February 11 (9:00am-3:30pm)

• Saturday  March 9 through Sunday March 17 (7:30am-4:00pm)

• Saturday April 13 + Sunday April 14 (9:00am-3:30pm)

• Saturday May 18 + Sunday May 19 (9:00am-3:30pm)

• Saturday June 8 through Sunday June 16 (7:30am-4:00pm)

$250- Non-refundable application fee (goes towards total balance) 

$3200 - Early Bird- PAID IN FULL by November 7th, 2023
$3500 – PAID IN FULL by January 13th, 2024
